Blue Ridge Wildlife & Fisheries Management came to us for a professional website that represented the company’s expertise, showcased their extensive services, and offered valuable resources for potential and existing customers. During our discovery process, we identified two types of site visitors and uncovered their primary needs. The first visitor needs urgent assistance with a wildlife creature that has entered their home or business. For these users, quick access to contact information, such as a direct phone number or email form, is the highest priority. The second visitor may have a less urgent need and be interested in researching humane wildlife removal services, wildlife information to identify a species, or resources related to long-term mitigation services and techniques.
Using our discovery information and client-provided content, our design team mapped out the ideal website architecture. The designs included easy-to-find contact methods, visual content displays, appropriately linked content for ideal content browsing, a comprehensive dropdown navigation, consistent page layouts to help visitors quickly scan the website’s content, and user-friendly website search.
Blue Ridge’s most recognizable form of visual branding was their newly designed vehicle wraps. Our design team used this as an inspiration for the website, pulling the black and green color palette, organic textures, and beautiful layers of wildlife creatures. We paired this with layers of bold typography, photography to help easily identify the types of wildlife, and simple icons to create an attractive and functional experience.
